Physical Therapist needed for 1 to 3 months
Opportunity Description: License helpful. Students welcome, but need to set up contract with your school for an affiliation. Can be somewhat flexible with duties and schedule. A variety of opportunities to use your current skills and develop new ones are available in this setting. Must like to work with children and work in a flexible environment. We work in a variety of the children's natural settings, including classroom, agriculture, horticulture, aqautic settings, etc. Contact Kate for more details at 928-871-2822.

St. Michaels Association for Special Education is a unique program located on the Navajo Nation in Arizona. We serve individuals with developmental disabilities ages 0 through adult. Individuals have various disabilities ranging from mild to severe. Great opportunities are available for a variety of experiences in the fields of nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy. There are also opportunities for help with our ancillary programs (agriculture, horticulture, etc), which involve manual labor. We are located in a rural area, within 2-3 hours of metropolitan areas. Our programs include an education program, adult day program, early intervention, and residential services. Must be willing to work respectfully within the Navajo culture. May be able to work with you to find housing.
